CAMERA OBSCURA
Collage is the ultimate artistic technique of incarnation – we make a whole out of fragments – we extract essence and meaning from chaos. We start from something that has a structure, consciously creating chaos by tearing it apart, and then we give everything a new structure and meaning, transforming it with our own energy. Thus, by creating an external structure, we discover and strengthen our own internal structure from within – we see and change our own matrix, which becomes visible to us through the collage, piece by piece.
The exhibited collages were created in two cycles during the last four years. All collages are circular in shape, small in size up to 20 cm in diameter and each is composed of over 300 special fragments. Work on individual collage lasts for several months.
The exhibition will be open until Feb. 20th, 2021 Monday-Friday from 10am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
