On the Occasion of 139th Anniversary of Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, on Sunday, November 19th the Board for extraordinary contribution to the programme activities awarded Plaques and Annual Gallery Award for the best solo exhibition in 2016/2017 season.

This year’s winners of the Kolarac Endowment’s Plaques are PhD Mira Radojević, Associate Professor at the Department of History of Yugoslavia, Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Janos Dezso, Director of the Hungarian Cultural Institute COLLEGIUM HUNGARICUM, Vladan Vukosavljević, Minister of Culture and Information of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Artist from Novi Sad Milan Kulić is the winner of the Annual Gallery Award for 2016/2017.

Plaques and Award were given by the Chairman of the Kolarac Endowment Board Nada Popović Perišić.

The music part of the program was performed by violinist Dušan Panajotović, the most prominent young musician in 2016, according to the selection of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia.

Greeting the audience, Jasna Dimitrijević, Manager stressed that the 139th year of Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment work was marked by five things – Digital Gallery was opened, Art Cinema Kolarac has more and more visitors, the project Take Over has successfully been completed, followed by a partnership project within the program Creative Europe, numerous scientific meetings and conferences prove that Kolarac is a place for presenting new scientific achievements and education of wider audience. Also, the year ends with the purchase of piano.

“By purchasing this piano we prove that we are a representative hall in the region in the coming period. Funds were collected through the action that lasted from 2014 to 2017, in which our artists abroad, our artists in Serbia, individuals, companies, and most of the funds were provided at the Ministry of Justice competition,” said Jasna Dimitrijević, Manager of The Kolarac Endowment.
