The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 17th, until 4 pm.
Incomplete and submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
Collection of works on May 20th from 10 am to 4 pm.
Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment Gallery announces an Open Call for the selection of 10 proposals for solo exhibitions in 2025. The competition is open from May 13th to May 17th, 2024.
Requirements:
– appropriate educational background (degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Applied Arts or other art faculties) and/or membership in artistic associations (ULUS, ULUPUDS)
– the candidate has not exhibited within the curated programme of the Gallery in the past 5 years
How to apply:
– in person or by delivering the competition materials to the address of Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment (Studentski trg 5, 11000 Belgrade).
– via email to galerijakolarac@gmail.com (subject: FULL NAME – Application proposal for the 2025 Open Call)
When submitting the application, it is necessary to provide the following materials:
– filled application form, printed or in Word format (available for download here)
– 3 original works if the candidate submits the application in person, or up to 10 works in digital format if applying via email (JPG format for photos, MP3 format for audio, MP4 format for video material and/or a link to the video; filename should contain the appropriate technical description – title of the work, year, artistic medium/technique/material, dimensions)
– exhibition concept summary, printed or in Word format
– brief professional biography, printed or in Word format
Candidates who submit applications electronically will be notified of their receipt via email.
The Open Call results will be published on the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment’s website.
Nota bene:
Please note that selected candidates are required to realize the exhibition according to the concept and details of the Open Call proposal.
Exhibitors are obligated to leave one original artwork of their choice to Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment after the exhibition’s realization, which will become part of the Endowment’s artistic fund.
The Endowment does not provide exhibitors with payment of fees or funds to cover production costs.
